Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter visited Laurier in 1993 while working on a Habitat for Humanity project in Waterloo Region. They both stayed in Bricker Residence during their visit. Pictured with them (from left to right) are: Glennice Snyder, former manager of Conference Services, Shelley Huxley (BA '93) and Siobhan Monaghan (BBA '93).
